The theory of rational choice is a component of countless models that enhance our understanding of social phenomena. This theory has been also criticized by many theorists. Principles and fundamentals of the rational actor are the basis of all social sciences theories, which have been explained by some theorists such as Weber ( 1978), Boudon ( 1998), and Elster ( 1989). In this theory, society is a set of the people, which has rational action. The main hypothesis in the prediction of humans’ behavior is that these have an almost rational and targeted trend. The rational choice theory is one of the theories that predicts humans’ and societies’ behaviors in the social sciences. ![]()
